Those things belonging to her sphere include the generation of coin, the partnerships necessary to make more than can be made alone, and the obtention of those things which make life worth living — that perfume you’ve been eyeing for weeks, a fancy night out, the ability to treat loved ones for the holidays… even things as simple as brand-name pantry essentials.
This community ritual draws not only on the powers of Venus, but also on those of Spica, star of generosity, of the multiplication of coin, and of abundance. Specifically, this working will draw on the pneuma collected within a set of powder, oil, and wash prepared on Sunday, November 2nd 2025, as Venus joined Spica in the sky shortly after the helical rising of the star (October 31st). This “folk election” brings together the current of Spica’s helical rising, Venus’ conjunction with the star in her home sign of Libra, as well as the blessing of All Saints’ day, which is a day traditionally auspicious for all things pertaining to wealth and prosperity in preparation for the harsh Winter months. A small batch of this Venus x Spica oil, powder, and wash is also available for purchase.
Our Horn of Plenty ritual will be centered around the ritual offering of bread, beer, and fruit, along with the setting of lamps and candles on behalf of participants. Of importance, a small bun will be baptized in the name of each participant of the 5-Day Votive Candle & Poppet tier and washed with our elected Venus x Spica wash. These loaves will afterwards be left around local fields, forests, and places of prosperity.
Central Lamp - 15: Your name will be added to the list included in the central oil lamp of the ritual. You will be mentioned as patron of this offering, and included in the prayers and invocations made to Spica, Venus, and their spirits.
Chime Candle - 25: Along with the benefits of the 15 tier, your name will be etched into a chime candle dressed and fixed with our Venus x Spica oil and powder, and set to burn as part of our ritual.
5-Day Votive Candle - 40: Along with the addition of your name to the central oil lamp, a 5-day votive candle will be washed in our Venus x Spica wash, fixed with the oil and powder belonging to the election, and prayed over / fed each day for the duration of its burn.
5-Day Votive Candle & Poppet - 50: Participants of this tier will have a candle worked in the same manner as those of the 40 tier, along with the addition of their name to the central oil lamp of the working. A small popper will be baptized in their name, formed from the same dough as the offering loaves dedicated to Spica and Venus. This poppet will be worked with the wash, oil, and powder belong to the Venus x Spica election, and left in places of abundance, prosperity, and wealth so that those they represent may forever find themselves in a place of abundance.
Patreon members of the Haw-Thorn and Elder tiers will receive the same benefits as the Central Lamp tier by default, but may opt-in to the higher tiers through this listing if desired.
Our ritual will be performed on Friday, November 21st at 9:30pm EST, as the waxing Moon forms a sextile aspect with Spica.
