The Horn of Plenty Fixing Powder serves a very similar purpose as that of its sister oil — to break through the cycle of making ends meet so that we may move into a space of having more than enough coin to treat ourselves and those around us. Its formulation differs in certain areas, and takes on a much more Venusian energy than the Horn of Plenty Ritual Oil, which focuses on the energies of Spica. This powder serves for drive and motivation in our financial goals, but also for the drawing of the right people into our lives, as well as for generating the type of luck a 2000s socialite embodies. To be invited to the right events, to be put in touch with the right people, to be seen as someone worth helping and investing in, to make other invested in our well-being, and to find ourselves at the right place, at the right time.

The Horn of Plenty Fixing Powder is formulated with a base of Orris root and Rice flour, to which a variety of herbal, mineral, and animal curios were added, along with elected powders from past Spica and Venus elections. Each addition was divined upon with the spirits of Spica and of Venus, but also with that of dead sorcerers who advised its formulation. This powder carries a light fragrance reminiscent of soil and of old French perfumery, bringing to mind the ability to rise above one’s station despite having been dealt a bad hand.

Sprinkle this powder in the pockets and in the shoes, dust the hands, and add to the wallet, bank, and stacks of documents. Sprinkle liberally around the house, especially at the four corners, and in the workplace. Dress candles generously, and dust talismans, vessels, and other such items.

The Horn of Plenty Ritual Oil is crafted with the virtues of Spica in mind, to bring prosperity, abundance, and the multiplication of coin, but bringing in the virtues of Venus to move past a space of survival and of having all that we need, into a space of excess — into a space of frivolous spending and of luxury, of comfort and of pleasure. This oil serves to break through the glass ceiling of our magic bringing just enough to make ends meet, so that we may actually have more than enough to treat ourselves and our loved ones.

It is formulated with a base of Apricot Kernel and Sweet Almond oil, into which a wide variety of materia belonging to the spheres of both Venus and Spica — herbal, animal, mineral, and otherwise — were infused. Each curio, plant, powder, tincture, and addition has been divined upon and confirmed through spirit-congress with not only Anaêl and Spica, but with the spirits of dead sorcerers who advised its creation. A sudden departure from our fragrance-free model, this oil features a perfume inspired by soil and French perfumery as manifest during the industrial revolution era. Nut Grass, Ylang-Ylang, various florals, Nutmeg leaf, and Cepes all make an appearance, amongst many others.

The Fixed Star Spica is known to multiply coin and to increase finances. It chases away scarcity and helps in getting rid of debt and financial burdens.

The Buckeye is a traditional plant that is used to invoke luck, fertility, abundance, prosperity, and indeed, money. It is a majestic tree, with its large spikes of creamy yellow flowers and spiky fruit which splits to reveal a gorgeous maroon nut within. This is a plant with whom I enjoy working to create long-lasting wealth and prosperity, to increase business, and luck in all financial matters.

These Buckeyes were collected in October, just before the Heliacal Rising of Spica. They were dried upon Spica’s altar, and prayed over during my regular devotions. During the Helical Rise of the star, these were engraved with the sigil of the star, and fixed with Fixed Star Spica; The Merchant oil, as well as Fixed Star Spica Attuning Tincture. They were also dusted repeatedly with our Fixed Star Spica Dressing Dust. As they were fed, anointed, and perfumed, these Buckeyes were consecrated to bring wealth and luck, to multiply coin, and to increase one’s finances. They were also presented to the patron Man-Drakes of the collection, and enchanted by their intercession to bring general protection and financial increase.

Each Buckeye Amulet is strung upon a leather cord so that it can be worn about the neck, hung in one’s workspace, or attached to a bag or wallet. These amulets will continue to draw money and luck as long as they are well-kept, and they can be further empowered by anointing them with Fixed Star Spica oil when the Moon is conjunct Spica every month.

Our Alpha Virginis Fixed Candle is a 16oz pillar of pure Canadian beeswax poured and blessed in honor of the Fixed Star Spica. This star is said to bring love and reconciliation, the multiplication of coin, the increase of finances, and the reduction of debts.

This candle was made for those who would wish to honor the star and its spirit, Hameliel, to bring money and love into their life. It is dressed in Fixed Star Spica oil, crafted during an election of Spica in 2022, and fixed with our Fixed Star Spica Dressing Powder. A single Buckeye, prayed over and enchanted at our Spica altar, crowns the pillar to bring wealth, luck, and protection.

This candle should be burned atop petitions, upon Spica shrines and altars, or standing within a bowl filled with materia appropriate to the star to draw the favor of the star and its spirit. It may be left to burn itself out, or lit and burned in increments as needed. Each candle will burn for 6-9 days depending on its environment.

These Fixed Star Spica Ritual Vessels were crafted for those who may wish to enshrine a spirit of Spica for all manners of sorcerous work concerning love and wealth.

Each was thrown from gorgeous speckled stoneware and glazed with a matte, pebbly white glaze. The sigil of Spica surrounds the vessel. As each vessel was spun, prayers to the star were pronounced, and its oils, powders, and other materia were incorporated into the process of crafting such that its power fills each vessel, before any work has been performed.

These may be used to store materia of the star, to brew oils of Spica, or may be enchanted to serve as a ritual vessel. To this end, a rite of capturing starlight is provided with each vessel for those who would wish to obtain a spirit from the legions of the star, to reside within.

Each vessel is unique, with its own personality, imperfections, and quirks. Each vessel is approximately 4-5” tall, with diameters ranging from 3-5”.

Spica is a star of kindness and of blessings; a star which brings love, reconciliation, and the multiplication of coin. Two talismanic images are known to be popular for the Star of the Spike: that of a Bird, and that of a Merchant.

This oil and its sister were crafted after the talismanic images of Spica, to represent its aspects as a star of wealth and a star of love, respectively.

This oil was brewed during the Heliacal Rising season of Spica, starting October 31st 2024. Within, Greek Mandrake root, Mugwort from the Feast of the Assumption, Patchouli, local Buckeye, Spanish Basil, Lemon Balm, and Frankincense. This was infused in a water bath until aromatic, after which it was sung, prayed, and chanted over with offerings being made to the star Spica through my personal ritual vessel dedicated to the star and its angel, Hameliel. As part of this work, two Mandrake roots were pacted with to serve as the guardians and patrons of this collection, and whose spirits were called upon to enchant each piece of the collection.

This rendered an oil fit for the multiplication of coin, for the betterment of business, for the destruction of debt, for the settling of legal and financial disputes, and for calling on the spirits of Spica to strengthen and increase one’s financial power.

Use this oil to anoint the hands, the wallet, and any cash received on a daily basis, or whenever money is needed. Anoint candles for money rituals and spells, or when placing petitions with Spica and Hameliel. This oil is also excellent given to the Ancestors for the home’s prosperity and wealth. It may also be used to feed talismans, vessels, and amulets dedicated to Spica.

Our Cor Leonis: Fixed Star Regulus Fixed Candle is a talismanic pillar serving to radiate the influence of the star Regulus. This candle is poured from 100% pure Canadian beeswax in glass votives made specifically for church use, meaning they are resistant to heat and breakage. Our Cor Leonis Fixed Candles are anointed with Cor Leonis: Fixed Star Regulus Ritual Oil and dressed with Celandine, wildcrafted Mugwort, Calendula, and 14k Gold. Each candle burns for 6-9 days depending on its environment.

The Cor Leonis: Fixed Star Regulus Fixed Candle may be burned continuously during times when attention, notoriety, and admiration are desired. The Rider’s Coffer Amphora is a talisman to be hung upon the front door, or set as the center-piece of any shrine dedicated to the fixed star Aldebaran. This talismanic amphora was hand-crafted from stoneware clay and fired in the Kitchen Toad household with appropriate ceremony.

Each amphora is filled with herbal, mineral, and animal allies which belong to the sphere of Aldebaran, focusing on his ability to draw wealth, glory, and honor, as well as fortify the home and its protections. Each was then presented to the Star upon a clear night, and basked in its light as the spirits of Aldebaran were conjured forth and asked to reside within to serve the one who will purchase each item. Each was given a horse and a spear, and tasked to both protect them home and to build great wealth within it.

This talisman would be ideal to the witch who wishes to engage with the spirits of Aldebaran and build a relationship with them beyond the initial work of protection and wealth. Its power may serve the home or the storefront, or it may be hung or placed upon an altar or shrine dedicated to the Follower.

The Rider’s Coffer Amphora is best fed with Aldebaran: King of the East Elected Incense and Sorcerous Oil, although other Aldebaran materia may be substituted.

This is an oil of the Fixed Star Aldebaran, the Follower. The Unguent of the Sun is a recipe appearing in book 4, chapter 6 of the Picatrix. “[…]it is to receive grace, honour, exaltation, and love from kings, soldiers, and aristocrats.” It is to be made of Rose oil in the day of Mars, facing the Sun whilst it is in Aries or Leo and in the degree of the Ascendant, at dawn, as the Moon aspects Him favorably. A twelve-fold recitation of prayers to the Sun invoking his angels Ancora, Anehutyora, Actarie, Ahudememora, Behartyon, Actarie, Ahude, Behibilyon, Celyuberon, Zauceb, and Barhaot, is to be made whilst holding the oil in His rays.

This is exactly what was done with this Unguent of the Sun, the medium of which is a six-fold enfleurage of my local species of wild Rose, Rosa Canina, and a subtle infusion of true Benzoin resin in high quality Olive oil. The Rose petals used in this enfleurage were picked at dawn on a Sunday of a waxing Moon, whilst prayers to the Genius of Rose were pronounced and offerings of coins and honey were made to each plant. These individual Rose bushes were found at crossroads, in sun-bathed meadows, in churchyards, and in abandoned hedgerows.

This Unguent of the Sun should be used to anoint the face, ears, and hands, as a prayer is recited. Done as such, “[…] what you wish, you will attain, and you will see marvels in your friendly reception by the aforesaid (kings, soldiers, aristocrats, and greater and lesser persons).”

Each bottle of Unguent of the Sun comes supplied with its set of prayers, to be recited once at dawn before the first use of the Unguent, along with a prayer to pronounce during its application.

To bring luck in every aspect, whether in your day-to-day, for gambling, or in finances. These talismans contain three simple ingredients: crosses fashioned of true Ceylon Cinnamon, Ginger root, and Master root, and serve to bring powerful, short-lived luck to their possessor. Each was empowered by a recitation of Psalm 23 within the frame of our celebration of Saint Expedite's Feast on April 19th, fashioned from cloth and thread soaked in holy water over which the names of God were sung according to Solomonic tradition.

Our Fixed Star Spica Resin Incense is composed of worts sacred to the star herself, blended into a base of Dammar, Copal, and Frankincense, which pair beautifully with the acrid smoke of Garden Sage, Frost Sage, and Desert Sage which make up the bulk of its formulation. Chicory root, Oatstraw, Wild Grains, and Rye Whiskey lend a toasty, bread-like aroma to the smoke once it has settled. This incense was wet with both Rye Whiskey and Colloidal Gold and left to gestate for a week's time during which it was ensouled and empowered by the intercession of the Star-Daimon of Spica, Hameliel. To reveal the form of clients as Circe once did, turning Jason and his men into pigs — and profit.

This oil was blessed under the auspices of Venus in Capricorn within the shadow of her retrograde, to capture the exacerbation of the patterns of spending she may have us face. By the authority of Anaël, Archangel of Venus, the Intelligence and Spirit of the planet were drawn near. The angel of Capricorn, Hamaël, was also made present. Saint Expedite is petitioned in case of emergency or urgent need, and especially for quick cash. He responds quickly and with haste, delivering results as soon as possible. Traditionally, he is offered diluted red wine, red flowers, poundcake, and coffee for his aid.

This oil formula is one I have been using and tweaking for years now. It is my favorite money-drawing oil by far. It was brewed over the course of weeks, set on Expedite's altar and prayed over daily with Psalm 23; "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want..." This oil was blessed with holy smokes, liquor, and light, with the intention that it bring money rapidly and without delay, from wherever it is available.
