It, along with its sister wash and powder, were blessed at our working altar devoted to Anaêl, Angel of Venus, and Spica, on Sunday, November 2nd, as Venus joined Spica in the sky, shortly after the helical rising of the star (October 31st). This "folk election" brings together the current of Spica's heliacal rising, Venus' conjunction with the star, as well as the blessings of All Saints' day, which is a day traditionally auspicious for all things pertaining to wealth and prosperity in preparation for the harsh Winter months.
