The hummingbird, chuparosa, is a dainty creature fleeting from bloom to bloom. No other bird gets as close and personal with our beloved fragrant lady Rose as the humble chuparosa, whose name translates to “sucks from the rose”.

Our Fixed Candles are always prayed over in every step of the process, from the raw wax to the final dressing of the candle, to ensure maximum potency in your workings.
To work this candle, set it on a petition paper on which you have written your name and that of your lover, or the characteristics you are looking for in a partner. Although our Colibri candle comes pre-fixed, we recommend adding a few drops of your favorite love-drawing oil, or Colibri oil, and praying over it with your intentions before lighting the wick. Our Colibri; Chuparosa candle can be burned to the socket from the get-go, but we highly recommend working with it in increments. These candles will burn for 5-7 days depending on environmental conditions and how well-trimmed the wick is kept but, to ensure a 7 day working, we recommend marking the side of the candle and burning it in sections, adding a few drops of oil each day as you reinforce your intent and prayer.
