Seven Brothers Fetching Charm

$65.00

Seven brothers, lost to time — fatherless and motherless. Taken in by wolves, clothed in sacks, taught to hunt and gather and thrive. One day, each turned to Sun Man, asking: “Oh, Sun Man, let us float to the heavens and play there forever, so that we may escape our grief!”. And so did he grant their request and alight them to the heavens. However, the youngest of them had his foot stuck in a great root and thus did not float up as his brothers did. There, he lamented and cried out, until from his body sprang the Pine tree, forever growing taller and taller so that he may join his brothers in the skies.

This tale is the inspiration behind these humble fetching charms, enchanted by the rays of the Pleiades star cluster to bring all good things, and to fetch anyone — or any thing.

These charms are fashioned of white and yellow cloth, consecrated and blessed, and contain a multitude of plants and dirts belonging to the stars of the Pleiades. These include, but are not limited to, Frankincense, Fennel, Henbane, dirt from the graves of seven boys dead before their time, and dirt gathered from the roots of a powerful Pine. Each bag is adorned with a single river Pearl, representing the stars themselves, but also as a nod to their relationship with the waters.

These fetching charms were presented to the star cluster of the Pleiades during their heliacal rising season, fumigated in consecrated Pleiades incense, and soaked in cologne. They were blessed to bring general blessings, or indeed to fetch and hunt. This serves to bring all material desires, but also to fetch people and spirits, enhancing our ability to perform magic, to conjure spirits, and to command them. The spirits of the seven brothers contained in these charms may act as familiars, intercessors, guardians, and workers to bring to completion our acts of sorcery.

Each talisman comes with its set of instructions to form a pact with these spirits, along with details on how to feed and maintain their presence.
