These bowls were fashioned to suit the work of the Winter Mother. Crafted from red stoneware, partially sourced from ancestral clay beds, they feature a glossy snow-white interior and a matte, textured exterior.
Each bowl has been blessed and prayed over, and therefore is in tune with all Winter spirits.
Admittedly, these bowls went through quite the trauma going through the kiln, and a majority did not come out to the full height of Kitchen Toad’s standards. As such, most are offered as seconds or thirds.
Firsts are pieces living up to our standards.
Seconds are pieces with slight defects, but which are still functional.
Thirds are pieces which were compromised, but still carry the charge of their enchantments and can therefore be used to the same result as their more polished counterparts.
Bowls range from 5 to 9 inches in diameter, and are selected intuitively for each client.
