"Fair Lady of the Bounds,

Raise high the Holy Hedge of light,

Bind fast the dominion withing;

Pentanthus of the glory-hand,

Reach forth as Guide amidst thy branches,

Draw fast the bone-white thread

As a blessed needle of Weaving."

-Viridarium Umbris, D. A. Schulke

A child of the Hawthorn Queen, to guard the home and protect its owner from the Evil Eye and the envy of others.

Wood and thorns of Hawthorn were collected ritually, with offerings of honeyed water, cream, and butter; purchased for the purpose of keeping the Evil Eye at bay, and to prick the eye of those envious parties who would wish for our failure. This charm is crafted from the boughs of Hawthorn and blessed red thread; the Eye hanging at its center contains the berries and leaves of our Fair Dame, as well as Agrimony. Struck through with the Thorns of the Dame, the Evil Eye is destroyed and sent back to its caster tenfold.

Each of these charms is a little different; some are made with thread dyed with Madder root, some are hung with blood-red thread blessed by the Fates. Some include Nazar beads, while others don't. Each has its personality. For potency, anoint regularly with Oil of the Prick-Eye and fumigate with Dragon's Blood resin.

Hang these charms in a window, above the bed, or on the front door of the home to avert all striking Eyes.

Sold as curio only.
