Oil of Nigromanteia

from $28.00

The Dead laugh and dance as the Sun enters the tomb beneath our horizon; cackling and stomping, they bare their arms -- sickles and scissors, the poison vial, and the witching rod. Hungry are they, for within their ribs lies nothing but Hollow, that animating, entropic force ever giving birth to simple desires. With orders they march, to make a feast of their master's foe, to build their ranks and sow the shards of strife upon which they tread, as if a mirror reflecting dread and terror.

Oil of Nigromanteia is used in all manners of necromancy, typically for nefarious purposes. It can be used to sling a hex, to set up protections, to destroy an enemy's blessing, to create hauntings, to light lamps to the Dead, and of course to anoint any tools, candles or talismans suited to its virtues. It can be used both to compel the Dead and set protections against them, making it a perfect tool for any graveyard work. I anoint protective charms with it when dealing with angry spirits, but I also use it to dress nails and petitions for hexes, bindings, and reversal spells.

Our Oil of Nigromanteia combines a variety of ingredients -- botanical, mineral, and animal, -- collected from the cemetery during dealings with Shades and other hungry spirits. Each bottle was poured through a rusted pipe, obtained from a potter's field, and bares the 5th Pentacle of Saturn, for protection against spirits summoned in the night.

Nettle, Graveyard dirt, Usnea, Poplar leaf, Gilead's Balm, Black Pepper, etc...

30ml bottle. Sold as curio only.
