Join us in this protection ritual performed at the feet of Terrifying, Seething Hekate Brimo.
Brimo is the epithet of Hekate with whom many work for protection against life’s dangers, evil spirits, spiritual warfare, and illness. She is a fierce, wrathful, and merciless protective force who banishes all ill-will, bad luck, and negativity and protects us against the unsavory aspects of life.
As per the divination performed to plan this ritual, each participant will see a small red candle set before Hekate Brimo on their behalf. A chicken heart will be offered to the goddess for each participant, along with a larger offering of fish, fowl, and bovine meats. Each participant will have their name, date of birth, and petition for protection presented to the goddess on a scroll placed at her feet. An oil lamp will be fixed for protection and left to burn for seven days on behalf of all participants.
Those who wish to may elect to have a 7-day candle set on their behalf, which will be fixed with a variety of protective herbs, powders, oils, and other materia. Those who would wish to carry Hekate Brimo’s fierce protective energy with them in their daily life may also have a bag fashioned on their behalf as part of the ritual, which will be fixed with dirts, powders, and other loads before being washed and anointed on their behalf as part of our ritual. These will be presented to Brimo during our ritual and mailed out shortly thereafter.
Our ritual will be performed August 27th 2026.
Remnants of the working will be disposed of in my local cemetery along with further offerings for the Dead; glass and wax in trash cans, food at the foot of relevant monuments.
